There are four teams left vying for the title of the top team in the Canadian Hockey League.

The 2019 Memorial Cup gets underway in Halifax tonight, with the host Halifax Mooseheads taking on the WHL champion Prince Albert Raiders.

Also in this year’s tournament are the OHL champion Guelph Storm and the QMJHL champion Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, who will face off on Saturday night.

Each team will play the other three team’s once and the top team through the round-robin will receive a bye to the tournament finals.

The second- and third-place teams will then play a playoff game for a chance to join that top-seeded team in the championship game, which takes place on Sunday, May 26.

All four teams are looking to follow in the footsteps of the Acadie-Bathurst Titan, who won the Memorial Cup a year ago.

The previous three tournaments were won by OHL teams in the Windsor Spitfires (2017), London Knights (2016) and Oshawa Generals (2015).

All Memorial Cup games will be broadcast on Sportsnet.
