Wouldn't it be nice to get coffee delivered hot and fresh right to your desk whenever you want it?

A new project called Coffee Copter is doing just that, with office workers ordering coffee via an app and having it delivered by a drone. People from A Lab can order either an americano, espresso, cappucino or latte on the app from “The Coffee Virus” at their coffee corner. The drinks are then prepared fresh and fixed to a quad copter, which uses a stabiliser to keep the coffee nice and straight during the flight.

This drone even has object recognition and movement detection, helping it not to his people or objects, as well as a 3D algorithm to fly routes through the building. In the office, the copter lands at a special landing pillar.

The drone is currently being developed for a commercial market and those involved are looking for investors.
