Prynt is the first ever instant camera for smartphones and apparently it is an exciting piece of technology. Prynt has popped up online on Kickstarter and since it launched the idea has raised more than one million dollars. The concept for the project is simple; you plug in your phone, take a picture, and out comes a photo in a matter of seconds.

The cellphone case is compatible with iOS and Android phones and is expected to come in a number of colors once production begins. It has its own batter, and it does not need an internet connection, Bluetooth or ink to use. You can even scan the photo onto your phone using a compatible app and turn the picture into a video in a matter of seconds.

The engineering design team hopes to have test runs of the case completed by July, 2015 and the cases shipped to backers by August. The cases should be available to the public by October 2015.
