Gone are the days of navigating crowded, narrow aisles at the grocery store, or standing in a seemingly endless line-up at the till
Very soon, Instacart, an online grocery delivery service, will be bringing its online grocery delivery service to Canada.

Some people are born to shop, and Instacart says it is “revolutionizing grocery shopping” by connecting these shoppers with customers who can’t, or just don’t want to, do their own shopping.
Customers can use the Instacart app, or the website, to shop and have groceries delivered to their door by Instacarts shoppers, who are hired on either a part-time or contract basis.
Instacart will be introduced to the Canadian market in December 2017 through a partnership with Loblaw Companies Limited, which will complement their already established Click and Collect grocery pick-up service.

Online grocery orders from Loblaws, Real Canadian Superstore, and T&T stores will be delivered by Instacart to the customers home in as little as one hour, beginning in Toronto on December 6th of this year, and then in the Greater Vancouver Area in January 2018.
Rapid expansion to additional markets across Canada is expected throughout 2018.

At launch, customers will be able to shop from local store’s online inventory of as many as 30,000 products.
Instacart is already operating in more than 150 American markets.
