Snow is Falling on Area Highways

Expect winter-like conditions on the upper elevations as snow is falling on both the Coquihalla and at the Hope Slide on Highway 3.

According to Environment Canada motorists can expect to see showers and flurries on Wednesday along the highway from Hope to Merritt. There is also a chance of flurries and showers during the afternoon on Wednesday on the Okanagan Connector from Kelowna to Merritt.

Wet flurries will fall on Highway 3 all the way from Princeton to Hope and there is also a risk of a thunderstorm. If you are driving between Merritt and Kamloops wet flurries or showers are also expected along the Coquihalla Highway.
