With the first day of spring less than 24 hours away, Kelowna's weather is shaping up just in time.

The sun managed to sneak out from behind the clouds for Saturday afternoon and residents can expect similar sunshine to continue Sunday morning and afternoon with a high of 8C.

Temperatures will stay warm right into the evening before they begin to dip around 7 p.m. with a low of -6C expected for Monday morning.

Currently, Kelowna is experiencing clear skies with light wind at a chilly -5C.
