It may be starting to warm up in Kelowna, but the Connector has yet to get the memo.
The highway, which connects Kelowna and Merritt, received some snow overnight, which has led to a warning from DriveBC.
The warning is for slushy, icy and slippery sections between the Pennask Summit and the Junction with Highway 5A at Aspen Grove.
It also appears that conditions aren’t favourable on the Kelowna side of the summit either, with snow on the ground until the Brenda Mines area.
The Coquihalla, on the other hand, received rain overnight, but temperatures didn’t drop enough for snow or even freezing rain.
Roads are wet on the Coquihalla, however, so it’s still advisable to watch your speed if taking that route.
