Don’t forget to pack on that sunscreen if you’re planning on being out and about in Kelowna over the next few days.

Weather forecasters are predicting Sunday through Tuesday to be hot with blue skies.

On Sunday, the Weather Network predicts temperatures to rise to 28°C in the afternoon.

Forecasters are expecting Kelowna to heat up even more on Monday, with temperatures predicted to hit a high of 30°C.

As well, forecasters also have similar predictions for Tuesday, with temperatures expected to rise up to 29°C.

With clear blue skies also predicted over the next three days, people in Kelowna should remember to prepare for the summer heat with lots of water and sunscreen.

As well, mosquito repellent may not be a bad idea either. Indeed, higher water levels in the Okanagan Lake combined with warm weather presents the perfect conditions for more mosquitos than usual to be buzzing around Kelowna.
