Today's snowfall warning from Environment Canada calls for 25 to 35 centimetres of snow for the Coquihalla Highway.

Webcam shots from the Box Canyon Rest Area at noon show that traffic has come to a standstill.

However, DriveBC has yet to confirm any kind of closure and it appears there are delays in the area due to trucks spinning out.

Periods of snow are expected to continue throughout today and it will become heavy at times in the evening.

The snow from the Pacific frontal system is expected to ease on Wednesday morning, but another system will bring snow again later in the day.

Visibility may also be reduced at times.

NowMedia will continue to uppate this story with more information on delays near the Coquihalla summit as more information becomes available.
