High temperatures continue to impact the province as heat warnings remain in place and daily temperature records continue to fall.
The latest records to fall were mainly in the BC Interior, with Kelowna, Vernon, Nakusp, Cranbrook and Port Hardy setting new benchmarks on Friday.

Kelowna saw the previous record of 38.3℃ from 1979 be eclipsed by a new daily maximum of 38.6℃ on Friday.
The oldest record to be surpassed was in Cranbrook, as the area saw a high of 35.9℃, 0.9℃ warmer than the previous mark set in 1941.
Nakusp had the largest difference between old and new benchmarks with a high of 38.2℃ on Friday, 4.7℃ warmer than the record from 1979.
Other broken records include Vernon squeaking past a benchmark from 1979 with a high of 37.2℃ and Port Hardy setting a new mark with a high of 25.5℃, passing the previous high of 24.3℃ set in 1988.
The hot conditions are expected to continue through the weekend.
