You can put the rain jackets away today, but you may want to bust out a winter jacket.

It’ll be a cold one in Kelowna, with temperatures below freezing to start the day and the high only expected to reach 5°C this afternoon.

“Drier and cooler air is being ushered in from the north today,” says Wesla English, NowMedia meteorologist.

“This will keep sun in the forecast, but it will stay in the mid-single digits for a daytime high.”

The dry weather will continue for the rest of the week and it’ll even start to warm up.

“As an upper ridge builds over BC tomorrow and Friday, we will see gradual warming with continued sunshine,” added English. “Enjoy the pleasant fall days ahead!”

Have a great hump day, Kelowna, and bundle up out there!
