B.C.’s mountain ranges are about to get pounded with snow.

According to the Weather Network, the province is expected to receive the most snow on Earth over the next five days.

The Okanagan Valley is expecting a mix of snow and rain this week and the precipitation combined with temperatures around zero could lead to freezing rain warnings before the weekend.

Southern B.C.’s mountain ranges are where the majority of the snow will be falling.

According to the Weather Network, coastal mountain ranges could get pounded with close to 200 cm of snow.

That means Big White will also be receiving some fresh powder and the mountains weather forecast calls for close to 20 cm leading up to Saturday.
