There will be a risk of cloud in Kelowna this morning and the possibility of some sun later in the day.

But NowMedia meteorologist Wesla English said it will at least be above freezing for much of Thursday.

“A weak temperature inversion will set up today, but hopefully the inversion will be weak enough and we will see sun later today as well,” she explained.

“Although we will start off sub-zero, daytime highs will increase to within a few degrees above freezing.”

She added: “Sun and cloud are ahead for Friday.”

But, on the bright side, ski season is just around the corner!
