It’s going to be a grey one in Kelowna today.

NowMedia meteorologist Wesla English is warning residents of incoming clouds.

“Early birds may get a bit of sun today, but then a northwesterly flow will usher in clouds before midday,” she explained.

“Only a small chance of showers is in the forecast over the next 24 hours for the valley – however, the mountains will see a much greater risk of precipitation.”

Daytime highs will be around 8ºC, while the low – of about -3ºC – is expected to come in the morning.

Winds should be calm throughout the day.
