We are looking at a cloudy day with possible precipitation today to kick off the weekend.

Showers are possible later on, and even some snow could be in the cards for high elevation areas.

"We are going to see thickening cloud today," says Wesla English, NowMedia meteorologist. "A northwesterly flow developing over the region will bring the chance of showers to the valley this evening, with snow possible for high elevations tonight."

"Daytime highs will be above seasonal again today with afternoon temps near 9C, but it will be down just slightly above freezing tonight," she adds.
