Warm and sunny conditions are on the way to bring some heat after a cool and rainy start to June.

A special weather statement has been issued for the Okanagan Valley warning of temperatures reaching 30C this week.

“Get outside and enjoy!” says Wesla English, KelownaNow meteorologist. “With high pressure sticking around for a few days, this stable weather pattern will keep summer-like conditions in the forecast until at least Tuesday or Wednesday.”

Daytime highs will remain above seasonal in the upper 20s or low 30s for the first half of the work week, she adds.

Make sure you make the most of the warm weather on the way!
