If you're looking to get outside this weekend, today's clouds should decrease, bringing even more sun for tomorrow.

Last night's showers are drying up, sending Kelowna into a drying trend that's going to continue into next week, according to meteorologist, Wesla English.

“A quick moving cold front that is exiting our region will bring us windy conditions at times on Saturday. Although the chance of a shower is slim, isolated precipitation is possible," said English.

"The good news is we will see clearing behind this cold front and the sun will be in the mix this weekend. Daytime highs will be near the low teens but a warming trend setting up for next week will bring us patio weather soon!”

For now, today's high is 13 C with tomorrow's high hovering around 15 C.

Today, expect winds from the north at 20 km/h, and later becoming southwest between 30 and 50 km/h around noon.

While temperatures may seem a little chilly this weekend, we're gearing up for warmer weather next week, with highs in the 20s, according to Environment Canada.

This could be the perfect weekend to get your patio ready.
