Kelowna to see showers, above seasonal temperatures to start off the weekend

 We are likely going to see some precipitation today, mixed with above seasonal temperatures.
 
“A few showers are likely on Saturday for the valley around midday. Daytime highs will be near 5C, well above our seasonal temperature of -1C at this time of year,” says Wesla English NowMedia meteorologist. 


 
“High elevation snow is expected on some of the Southern Interior mountain passes today as well.”
 
English adds that we’ll be seeing drier weather and sunshine starting tomorrow, but it will also be noticeably cooler with daytime highs near freezing under a northerly flow.
