It will be a mostly cloudy day in the Central Okanagan, but it will also be warm.

The forecast calls for a high of 20°C around 5 pm, and if it reaches that mark it would be the first 20°C day of the year in the valley.

The sun will try to poke out from behind the clouds this afternoon and blue skies are expected to take over later this afternoon for a short time before the sun sets.

Environment Canada also calls for breezy conditions this afternoon, with southwesterly winds around 20 km/h and gusts up to 40 km/h between noon and 2 pm.

The latter half of the afternoon will see winds around 30 km/h with gusts up to 50 km/h.

Overnight, expect clear skies as it drops down to a low of 3°C.

After today, it’s expected to be sunny for the remainder of the week and through the weekend, with highs in the mid-to-high 20s on Saturday and Sunday.
