We’re only a few days away from the start of June and the weather this week will reflect that.

You can expect sunshine and blue skies to start the week and that will set the tone for the next few days of summer weather.

According to Environment Canada, today’s high is 26°C and the UV index will be eight, which is considered “very high.”

It will be a little breezy this afternoon, with southwesterly winds around 20 km/h entering the picture around 1 pm.

Those winds will blow in a few clouds this evening before tapering off around 8 pm. The overnight low is 8°C.

Looking ahead, the rest of the week will look very similar to today and we could see temperatures above 30°C by the weekend.
