Spring officially started just over a month ago, but the first true feel of warm spring weather will arrive over the coming days.

It begins today with mainly sunny skies and a high of 18°C in the Central Okanagan.

You can also expect a nice spring breeze this afternoon, with southwesterly winds around 20 km/h expected between 2-7 pm.

It will still be a little chilly overnight, with a low of 3°C predicted.

Expect clear skies for most of the evening before a few clouds roll in early Wednesday morning.

Looking ahead, there’s a chance Kelowna hits 20°C for the first time on Wednesday, but if we don’t it will certainly come this weekend.

The long-term forecast calls for highs of 24°C and 27°C on Friday and Saturday respectively.
