What a difference 24 hours can make.
The smoke-filled skies that Central Okanagan residents woke up to on Thursday have mostly cleared and air quality has gone from “very high risk” to “low risk.”
The smoke forecast indicates that it could get a little hazier at times during the day, but for the most part the Okanagan seems to be out of the woods smoke-wise, for now.
Environment Canada calls for mainly sunny skies and a high of 30°C to end the work week.
Southerly winds around 30 km/h will arrive this afternoon between 3-7 pm.
You can expect clear skies (as long as the smoke stays away) and a low of 13°C overnight as we get into the long weekend.
