Saturday is going to be a wet one in Kelowna with a 60% chance of rain on tap.

Environment Canada says there is even a risk of thunderstorms later this afternoon.

“Snow level near valley bottom. Wind becoming southwest 20 km/h gusting to 40 this morning,” says the weather agency.

The temperature will reach a high of 9ºC today.

That chance of rain is expected to end early this evening.
