If you’re just looking at the forecast on your phone, it has the makings of a beautiful mid-June day in the Central Okanagan.
Environment Canada calls for sunshine, a high of 26°C, an overnight low of 12°C and calm conditions throughout.
But if you look out the window, you will quickly see that’s not the case because smoke has drifted in from northern BC wildfires.
We will likely be covered in a cloud of smoke for the entire day, although it will thin out at times.
The smoke forecast shows that there may not be any significant relief until early Friday morning.
Looking ahead to the weekend, you can expect highs of 25°C on Friday and Saturday, then a cooler day Sunday with a high of 18°C.
