It’s going to be another smoky day in Kelowna.

But NowMedia meteorologist Wesla English said the sky will be a little clearer than it has been recently.

“A westerly flow will attempt to slightly improve the air quality for parts of the Central Okanagan,” she explained.

She added: “We will also see a mix of sun and cloud with mainly dry conditions in the valley.”

“Areas near the mountains will see a small chance of a shower.”

Between mid-afternoon and early evening, there will also be a chance of thunderstorms.

Daytime highs will be in the low 30s, while the overnight low is expected to be around 17ºC.
