You will see a bit of everything weather-wise in the Central Okanagan this weekend.
It will be cloudy today with a breeze to start, but that will turn into some serious wind as the day goes on.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement, calling for wind to blow around 40 km/h this afternoon with gusts to 60 km/h.
In West Kelowna and Peachland, those wind gusts could reach 80 km/h over the course of this afternoon and evening.
The high is 17°C and it will fall down to 11°C tonight as the showers make their way back into the valley.
That rain will taper off around noon on Saturday, but there’s still a 40 per cent risk of showers throughout the afternoon underneath a mix of sun and cloud.
We could see some thunderstorms on Saturday afternoon as well.
It’s expected to get up around 18°C on Saturday, but it will plummet all the way down to 5°C overnight with a small chance of showers.
The rain will stick around on Sunday with a high of 16°C and an overnight low of 6°C to close out the weekend.
