After a number of dry days, Kelowna is waking up to wet streets, lawns and driveways today.

The ground won’t have much of a chance to dry up, as the region will see a bit of snow over the next 24 hours, but nothing major.

“A few snowflakes will move up from the south today. Accumulations will range from a trace to a few centimetres,” explains Wesla English, NowMedia meteorologist.

“We will see a pause from the snow by late today and early tomorrow, but a wave of snow/rain mix will move through the area Friday night before it dries out again for the weekend.”

That precipitation will likely lean towards being flurries, as the high will hover right around -1°C today.

By the weekend, highs will get up to a few degrees above 0°C.

We’re almost at the weekend, Kelowna, have yourself a fantastic Thursday!
