There will be more light flurries today as temperatures remain below -10ºC.

But NowMedia meteorologist Wesla English said that Kelowna should return to balmy highs of about 0ºC in the next few days.

“Although no significant snow accumulations are expected, a southwesterly flow will usher moisture into our region today resulting in light flurries,” she explained.

“This flow will also help bring the temperatures up several degrees to near -10ºC by Thursday.”

She added: “By the weekend, we will see daytime highs back near freezing.”

Today’s high is expected to be about -12ºC, with a low of around -18ºC.
