That’s it; summer is officially over and you can feel good about busting out all those flannels and toques that have been sitting in your closet since March.

Even though it’s the first day of fall, however, you may want to wait a few days to wear those things because a stretch of warmer September weather continues in the Okanagan.

Today’s high is 21°C and residents will wake up to mainly cloudy skies.

Although it’s not quite flannel weather yet, you may want to have a light rain jacket on hand today because there’s a 30% of showers throughout the middle of the day.

Once the threat of showers clears, it will clear up this afternoon and we’ll likely see a beautiful evening in the Central Okanagan.

It will be a breezy night with a low down to 8°C

Have a great hump day, Kelowna, we’re motoring towards the weekend!
