Does anyone remember what the sky looks like?

It’ll be another smoky day in Kelowna with temperatures staying below 30°C, although the muggy conditions will likely make it feel a bit warmer outside.

According to NowMedia meteorologist, Wesla English, this weather that’s hung around the Okanagan Valley for the last few days isn’t going anywhere.

“With a lack of significant weather systems through the forecast period, there will be very little change over the next few days,” she explains.

“Expect filtered sunshine through haze in the valleys with temperatures in the mid to upper 20s.”

Today’s air quality health index in the Central Okanagan has started at a seven (high) and is expected to get up to a nine (high health risk).

Meanwhile, the UV index isn’t forecasted to be as bad as it’s been in previous days, with the Weather Network predicting it’ll reach a ‘high’ six over the course of the day.

Just two more days until the weekend, Kelowna, make your Thursday a good one!
