It’s going to be a fairly mild summer’s day in Kelowna on Thursday.

But NowMedia meteorologist Wesla English said the heat will soon return.

“Days are warm, but nights are starting to be a bit cooler,” she explained

“We will see sun and cloud today with highs in the mid 20s and lows near 10ºC.”

But she added: “Signs point to daytime highs near or above 30ºC again starting this weekend.”

The cloud on Thursday is expected to clear by mid-afternoon, allowing for a clear evening.
