The heat is sticking around, but it may come with a bit of precipitation today.

Rain could move into the valley later on in the day and with it comes the potential of thunder and lightning.

“A cold front will bring a slight risk of showers and thundershowers this afternoon. Daytime highs will be in the upper 20s,” says Wesla English, NowMedia meteorologist.

“We will see the sun return on Thursday behind the system.”

Although the sunny conditions will return on Thursday, it’s expected to cool down and get wet again on Friday.

Have yourself a wonderful hump day, Kelowna!
