Motorists are being asked to avoid travel if possible, and use extreme caution on roadways.

Drivers should use caution as the temperatures cool down and roads become icy.

With the current conditions, City plows are expected to be kept busy as they work to clear priority roads, and residents are asked to help, not hinder in efforts to keep roads safe.

Drivers can help snow removal efforts by avoiding parking on the street while it is snowing so that plows don’t have to work around vehicles.

With the current prolonged snow event, City plows are expected to be kept busy clearing the City’s top priority roads. Residents are asked to help, not hinder, snow clearing efforts.

Residents are also reminded not to deposit snow on roadways when clearing their driveways or sidewalks in front of their homes. This deposited snow may not be cleared by plows if the area has already been visited and can cause hazards for motorists.

To minimize the amount of snow left in front of driveways, residents are asked to shovel snow to the left side (when facing the property).
