Saturday's temperatures are expected to be warmer than Friday's.

It's 20 degrees outside this morning and it's expected to reach a high of 31 degrees later this afternoon.

With overcast skies, there's a 30% chance of rain for this morning, followed by a mix of sun and cloud.

A lot of the grey we're seeing is due to local smoke, but that's expected to clear overnight and into Sunday, as we get 20-kilometre per hour winds.

For today, there is a special air quality statement in effect for the Central, North and South Okanagan.

Avoid strenuous activities and find cool, well-ventilated indoor spaces.

If you have allergies and you're affected by pollen, you might find the air quality tough today, as it's been given a 'high' allergy rating.

The downtown Farmers' and Crafters' Market vendors are set up and ready to go on Pandosy Street this morning, not to be deterred by overcast skies.

With the Downtown Kelowna Block Party and the Farmers' and Crafters' Market both happening today. If you don't have chronic health problems, here's a great opportunity to have fun and support local businesses.

However, if you have chronic health issues, take precautions with today's poor air quality and smoky skies.
