Today began with blue skies and a mix of sun and clouds in Kelowna.

However, Environment Canada says rain is on its way between today and tomorrow.

With temperatures warming, the snow in higher elevations has turned to wet flurries, bringing expected showers to the Valley.

Environment Canada is forecasting a 30% chance of showers today with a mix of sun and cloud.

With a high of 4 C, rain is expected again on Sunday.

The roads in Kelowna are dry and clear, but be sure to check DriveBC if you're heading out of town.

If you're heading west this weekend, keep an eye on the roads and the weather.

It's about -5 C near the Brenda Mine weather station.

Over the past 12 hours, 2.2 centimetres of snow has accumulated and there's been no new snow this morning.
