Spring showers return to the mix in Kelowna today, but more sunshine isn’t too far away.

It’ll likely be a wet couple of days, which includes the first day of the Eastern long weekend, but the early forecast for Saturday and Sunday will make most happy.

“More clouds with a chance of showers are in the forecast today and tomorrow under a southwesterly flow aloft. Temperatures remain in the mid to upper teens,” said Wesla English, NowMedia meteorologist.

“Signs point to sunshine returning for the weekend!”

Although it’ll be wet, it shouldn’t be too cold today as Environment Canada calls for a high of 17°C.

Happy fake Friday, Kelowna, and enjoy your long weekend once we get through the day!
