Big White Ski Resort is expecting a steady feed of snow all week which means there will be powder to be found on the mountain this weekend.

According to Big White's forecast, the mountain is expecting a string of Pacific systems that will provide a steady feed of snow to the resort.

Freezing levels are reportedly close to 1300m, which means everything from the Gem Lake Express chair and up is seeing snow instead of ugly freezing rain.

While the snow is falling, the mountain is dealing with some varying amounts of fog Tuesday morning.

Big White currently has 116/118 runs open with 14/15 lifts open and a 183 cm snow base.
