We are waking up to snow at higher elevations this morning, marking the return of cooler weather.

According to the forecast, snow may continue to fall on the mountains high elevation highways, but down in the valley we could see a mixed bag of weather.

“We will see a bit of everything for the whole weekend - sun, clouds and showers! High elevations will also continue to see a risk of snow as an unsettled weather pattern remains over the region for the next few days,” says Wesla English, NowMedia meteorologist.

“Temperatures will also continue to be on the cool side with daytime highs in the upper single digits or low double digits.”
