Snowfall warning issued for North and Central Okanagan

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for parts of the BC Interior for the remainder of the weekend.

The affected areas include the North and Central Okanagan, Shuswap and North Thompson. 

In total, 10-15 cm of snow is expected to begin falling around midnight and into early Sunday afternoon. 

The heaviest snow is projected to hit Sunday morning. 

“Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions,” reads the warning. 

“If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.”
