Tuesday could very well see a little bit of everything weather wise.

Thunder could even make its way into the Okanagan Valley this afternoon, with a chance of showers coming as well.

“Sun and cloud to start your Tuesday, but we will see thickening cloud this afternoon with the risk of showers and/or thundershowers when a persistent upper trough continues to keep instability in our forecast,” explains Wesla English, NowMedia meteorologist.

“The unsettled weather with a bit of everything continues into Wednesday. Daytime highs will remain in the upper teens over the next couple of days.”

English says there’s even a possibility of high elevation snow by Thursday, a true sign that summer is coming to an end.

Another sign that summer is coming to an end is a lower UV index, and it’s only expected to get up to a ‘moderate’ three today.

Enjoy your Tuesday, Kelowna, and maybe do so before that possible rain and thunder rolls into the valley later on!
