The sun is making a return this weekend, giving us a bit of a break from overcast weather.

Currently it is 16°C under mainly cloudy skies with 13 km/h winds.  The UV index is at 0 but forecast to reach 8 today and the pollen index is high.

NowMedia meteorologist Wesla English expects Kelowna to see a little more warmth today and tomorrow for your weekend adventures.

“Enjoy a warmer and drier weekend ahead when high pressure builds over our region. Sunshine will help bring temperatures back up into the upper 20s and low 30s this weekend. A chance of precipitation returns on Sunday night when the upper ridge shifts eastward,” she says.

Enjoy your weekend Kelowna!
