Welcome to your weekend Kelowna!

It looks like we will have a little sunshine to start out, but unfortunately the sun won’t be sticking around for long.

“Breaks of sun to start the weekend but the brighter trend will be brief,” says Wesla English, NowMedia meteorologist. “Expect increasing cloud when the next system moves onshore Saturday night with mixed precipitation to start, but as freezing levels rise during the day on Sunday, the valley precipitation will fall as rain.”

“High elevations will continue to see snow with this next system,” she adds.
