Weather is always a moving target in B.C.'s expansive Interior but it certainly looks like rain is on the way.

There is a 30% chance of rain this evening, followed by a 60% chance of precipitation overnight according to Environment Canada.

However, thunderstorms are also predicted overnight, which is bad news when it comes to lightning.

The Air Index Quality for the Central Okanagan currently sits at a level 3, which is in the "low risk" category but the Index is forecast to move up to a "moderate risk" rate of 6 by tomorrow.

Here's the current weather for Kelowna.
