The warm weather Kelowna experienced this week was short-lived, as the Central Okanagan is anticipating to see the first snowfall of December this weekend.

According to Environment Canada, Friday is expected to see a high of 1ºC with some increasing cloudiness over the course of the day, which is predicted to turn into snow overnight.

Saturday doesn’t look much different as the snow will continue into the morning, but should clear later in the afternoon. The temperature high is forecast to be about 0ºC.

On Sunday the sun will make a brief appearance, but snow is forecast to return in the evening.

In the afternoon a high of -1ºC is anticipated, but the temperature will be dropping down to a low of -6ºC later in the day.
