A mix of sun, snow, clouds, and rain will make for an interesting week as we sit above zero during the day and drop into the negatives overnight.

According to Environment Canada,  a high of 5°C today with a mix of sun and cloud may turn into a chance of flurries or rain overnight.

On Tuesday, a high of 3°C with clouds to clear during the day and make way for a bit of sun, but they will return overnight and drop down to -3°C in the evening.

Wednesday, more clouds and a high of 0°C, but overnight we get back to our wintertime blues with snow to start later in the afternoon and get down to -2°C.

On the 20th, EC is anticipating a chance for flurries or rain showers while we shoot up to 4°C. Thursday night, clouds, rain or snow should clear up and sit around -2°C.

Now, no new snow at Big White in the past 24 hours, however, the alpine snow base currently sits at 156 cm, with all 105 runs open to kick off the week.

A low-pressure system is being tracked through BC, which will bring periods of snow to the mountain Wednesday and Thursday with gusty winds ranging between 15-25 kph.
