Get ready to dig out some extra layers as cooler air will move in this weekend.

By next week our daytime highs will be near or below freezing.

Until then, we will see a slim threat of mixed precipitation on Friday, but the precipitation will not be widespread, and many areas will stay dry.

Once we switch to more of a northerly / northeasterly flow this weekend, we will see drier air move in and sunny breaks will develop by Saturday or Sunday.
