Cold air will run into a weather system moving in from the northwest, generating snow for our valley starting early Friday morning.

For some areas near the city we will see the snow change to mixed precipitation by the afternoon, but the snow will stick on higher terrain.

Daytime highs on Friday will be just a degree or two above zero.

The modified arctic air will stick around this weekend, but there will be sunshine – daytime highs will just stay near or even slightly below freezing, and overnight lows will be well below zero.

Have a great weekend Kelowna!
