A strong upper ridge over our province will draw hot air in from the south and into our valley this weekend.

The sun will shine all weekend.

Daytime highs will be in the mid 30s to low 40s for BC's southern Interior.

Temperature records will very likely be broken.

With overnight temperatures remaining in the upper teens or low 20s, there will be an increase in heat-related health risks, as well as a higher wildfire risk.

Stay safe Kelowna and have a great weekend!
