Our valley will see rain and snow on Monday with the passage of the next weather system.

Freezing levels will hover near the valley base in the early morning with snow falling to start the day, but as milder air takes over, we will see the snow change to rain for areas near the lake.

Higher terrain will continue to see snow with snow levels near 600 metres in the afternoon.

On Tuesday morning, we will be in between weather systems but when the next wave of moisture moves in, we will see thickening cloud by Tuesday afternoon.

Rain will return to the valley Tuesday night and Wednesday.

Daytime highs will remain a few degrees above freezing for the next few days.

Have a great weekend, Kelowna!
