Snow and rain will fall today when the next weather system brings Pacific moisture inland.

Freezing levels will rise to just above the valley bottom and mixed precipitation is likely for areas along the lake by midday, but higher terrain will continue to see snow.

The precipitation will ease off tomorrow in the wake of the system, and we will see a drier Saturday with sun in the mix.

Signs point to a low brushing the region on Sunday, keeping the threat of mixed precipitation in the forecast for the second half of the weekend.

Daytime highs will remain a few degrees above freezing today, but near 5ºC tomorrow.
